About three years ago my life was forever changed. Most of my existence I spent in the new age spirituality, and was always searching for deeper meaning. Ever since a child I encountered many supernatural experiences which led me on a journey to unanswered questions. I suffered with years of depression, and even contemplated suicide. Eventually the light that I thought I had been following turned into darkness. With nowhere else to turn I cried out to Jesus, and he began unraveling the deception I had followed for so long. When I encountered the presence of Jesus I was set free and made whole. Jesus is love but more than anything he is TRUTH, and to follow him means to walk along the narrow path. This is my journey of leaving the new age to follow Christ, and discovering many of those same teachings infiltrating the church, just like the bible has warned against. This has been quite the journey, and I'm never quite sure where God is taking me, but Intend to follow and use my gifts to serve the Lord.
I am also a busy mom of four boys, and a registered psychiatric nurse with hopes of becoming a christian counselor one day.
